Hawaii Relay Conference Captioning (RCC) is intended for the residents of Hawaii.
RCC is not available for individuals with speech disabilities.
Use of RCC service by government employees to conduct business on behalf of their agency is not permitted. One RCC reservation allows multiple users to join the same link and read captions of your event (conference call, video meeting or webinar).
The minimum system requirements to use RCC service are:
- A high-speed Internet connection
- Microsoft Windows 10 or OS X
- Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari with cookies and JavaScript enabled
How to Cancel a Scheduled Call
We understand that cancellations or event changes may occur. Cancellations or event changes must be received within 24 hours of an event. Please e-mail us at captioning@t-mobile.com and let us know of the change or cancellation.
Step-by-Step Instructions for Reserving RCC
If your event is a:
- Conference call – get dial-in phone number and access code, if needed.
- Video meeting or webinar – get meeting link URL, conference/meeting ID and password, if needed.
Reserve RCC at least 48 hours in advance (two business days).
We will make our best effort to cover events requested with less than 2 business days notice, but it cannot be guaranteed.
- Go to tmobileaccess.com/hawaii to book an event.
- Fill out name and contact information (1):
- Check both to verify your agreement and hearing loss (2):
- Fill out your event information such as (3):
- Select Conference Call or Video Meeting/Webinar
- Phone number to dial and access code
- Name of event or subject matter
- Fill out a date and time of event (4):
- Choose Transcript Options (5):
- Retain a copy of the transcript
on a server, or - Destroy a transcript after an event
to protect your confidentiality
- Retain a copy of the transcript
- Choose Participant Options (6):
- Choose to allow participants
to view a transcript only, - Both view and save, or
- Not to view or save a transcript
- Choose to allow participants
- An e-mail confirmation is sent soon after event is scheduled. If confirmation email is not received, check spam or junk mail folder.
Captioning Accuracy
For the most efficient captioning, please submit information such as names of attendees, agenda, speaker notes and PowerPoints by replying to your RCC confirmation email prior to your scheduled conference call, video meeting or webinar.

Relay Conference Captioning service is available free of charge to individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and live or work in Hawai`i. If you have a home or work phone number with a verified Hawai`i area code and prefix, you are eligible to use this service.
